Listen to this song.

Discuss the following questions:

  • How is this different/similar to what we have been learning?
  • Can you identify the riff/hook in the piece?
  • Does it sound similar/different to music you hear in the charts today? Explain your answer.





In pairs, begin to learn "7 years" by Lukas Graham. Use the resources in the classroom to help you.


Fancy a Challenge? 

Have a go at one of the following...

  • Add a bass line/the chords with your left hand and play the riff with your right hand
  • Continue to learn the main melody on the keyboard (as shown on the sheet music)
  • Sing and play at the same time
