How the Jews were persecuted through the Middle Ages in Europe

How the ideal of racial anti-Semitism developed in Europe – where Jews were seen as a race of people rather than a religion in the 19th Century and how this led to further persecution of the Jews

Hitler’s use of propaganda – using sources and understanding inference

How propaganda was used to influence German people – you will need to be able to describe key features of a source and/or give ideas about what can be inferred (understood) from a source (cartoon/poster/speech etc.)

Nazi Laws – how the Nazis discriminated against Jewish people

Being able to identify the different laws that were passed before 1936 and how they impacted on the Jewish people living in Germany.
