Y10 will be completing GCSE AQA practice Science exams at the end of the Y10 course (one for each subject Biology/Chemistry/Physics).
The papers are 1 hour in length and 60 marks
There will be a Higher (grades 4-9) and Foundation Tier (grades 1-5) 30% of marks will be common to both exams. Your Science teachers will inform you of which Tier you will be sitting for this exam
The topics which will be covered are:
Biology: Cell Biology, Organisation, Infection & Response and Bioenergetics.
Chemistry: Atomic structure, Bonding, Quantitative Chemistry, Chemical Changes. and Energy Changes.
Physics: Energy, Electricity, Particle Model of Matter and Atomic Structure
