This is a very broad and inspiring theme covering a wonderful range of different events. You can choose to look at one of the vibrant festivals from somewhere abroad or to look at something much closer to home - maybe an event that you remember yourself.

To fully appreciate that you can do really well in this subject if you try your best.

Choose ONE of theme to work on and create a visual mind map on this theme.

Try to think about something connected to this theme that you could bring in next week.

REMEMBER

  • Do NOT use all internet images.
  • Cut out the images to stick them down.
  • Take your own pictures as well if you can.
  • Use images from magazines - why not visit a travel agent if appropriate.
  • Use pieces of fabric and other materials where relevant
  • GLUE not sellotape.
  • Write describing words in your mind map, or words that describe how you feel about the subject of the mind map.
  • Put little sketches of ideas in - do them on another sheet first.
  • Use images of work from relevant artists in your mood board.
