In this AOS, you will study you instrument (choose one if you play several). You will perform a piece, or pieces, on your instrument, and compose a piece for one more instruments/voices.
Integrated Portfolio - (30%)
This involves you producing the following:
- A performance on your chosen instrument (15%) solo
- A composition for any instrument (or instruments) (15%) - you decide the brief for you composition
Practical Portfolio - (30%)
This involves you producing the following:
- An ensemble performance (15%)
- A composition to a brief set by the exam board, linking to an Area of Study (15%)
All of this will be completed well in advance of your Listening Exam in Year 11.
