The partners during a SWOT analysis have recently identified a weakness/opportunity within the business. The weakness is that their corporate communications, such as brochures, information packs and flyers have not been changed since the business was formed and need updating. The partners feel that by improving these, they will provide an opportunity for the business, as attractive corporate publications will immediately improve the way customers initially perceive the business.
You are well into your induction training programme and now have a good knowledge of all services that the practice offers. As you joined the practice with a strong knowledge of ICT, Susan Graham has suggested that you now utilise what you have learnt and combine this with using your ICT skills to produce a series of new corporate publications for the practice, but is keen for you to do sufficient research before commencing the work to ensure that the documents you produce are of the quality that the partners desire

P4 - Evaluate the external Corporate Communications of an existing product or service.
You need to research the publications from two existing businesses that offer financial products or services. You need to gather a minimum of two publications from each and evaluate these. In addition to the obvious presentation requirements such as layout of documents and corporate house style, you will also need to evaluate the publications wherever possible with consideration of the methods detailed below. Now that you have completed your research, you need to produce a new corporate publication for the practice. The partners have asked for a new concise brochure that includes the mission statement of the practice, company logo, and details all services that are offered together with comprehensive contact details.
