Product Design - Year 7

You are to design and make a working clock which is influenced in style by your choice of USER and by Paper Cutting or Silhouette Art. By choosing a specific market for your product you will be encouraged to be creative, but focused on the needs of the USER. Your Clock must be of high quality and attractive in appearance.

The Clock will use a Batch-Produced, sustainable, background made from Plywood and you must integrate this into your design. You must also construct a wooden stand from re-used timber. The main features of the Clock are to be constructed from Hardwood and Veneers. You will use Aluminium to enhance the appearance of the Clock and to increase its stability. The working product will then cost £2 to cover the cost of the Clock movement.
